A Knights Tale isn’t based on classic literature
Julia Stiles was the absolute queen of modern Shakespeare adaptations. She was also in Hamlet (not pictured here).

I wish we’d do more adaptations like this. These movies made Shakespeare accessible to me as a kid and got me way more into classic literature.
