MALICE!? Justin Baldoni BLASTS Blake Lively As She Demands MILLIONS!

Blake Lively is trying to get millions out of Justin Baldoni before there’s even a verdict. I’m getting so sick of this. [Applause] Welcome to Popcorn Planet. I am Andy Signor here with It’s Kim. We were here for a couple hours going over everything from uh Taylor Swift’s Breakin to the Muppets. And now we’re going to recap the best of uh our topic. and and this was our main topic today. We’re a couple things I want to get into this one along with some upcoming depositions that have already started. Who’s going to be on the witness list? We’re going to get through all this. But first, I want to go through this this thing because we read through it. It’s a pretty long doc, but this the summary up top really sort of sets the tone for what’s at stake. I just want to reiterate again, Blake Lively is using this California code, this 47.1 which was established for like survivors of SHSA to ensure that they get proper legal rights and you know things to fight the powerful. But now Blake Lively is using this as sort of a a testing ground to, in my opinion, salvage her ego and basically stand on this very fragile thing and using it so she can prove she’s a victim is how this all plays out. And she’s using this very new code and trying to basically wear it in so all victims and survivors can can I’ll be the person who did it. And if anything, she’s got to make it harder for them because these claims are just not that strong. This whole case has just been such a waste of time. And she’s like clinging on to it with dear life. And Justin responded in this document, Kim, just to give sort of the summary and then you could chime in and let me know if I missed it. But they do a really good job sort of explaining that like, you know, aside from all the California issues of like, girl, are you in California? Are you New York baby? Are you a California baby? What what the hell? The movie shot New York and New Jersey. like they had a day in California, but that’s it was clearly in New York, New Jersey. We visited the set. Uh all the scenes where they were at, it was mostly New Jersey. And she lives in she doesn’t live there in California. She lives in New York. Uh so none of this makes any sense. Plus, they go in and explain that like no fact person of fact has established what the outcome of this cases. Like regardless like how much money do we owe you? Well, we haven’t established the grounds yet. uh you know, no person of fact has been able to sort of decide was there malice or was there not. It it’s pretty disturbing, Kim, as we’ve gone through it, and you can watch the full replay to to to read it all, but I’m giving you sort of the summary of things. They’re just trying to here’s this here the bullet points. No trior fact has found based on admissible evidence that Lively’s SH claim were asserted without malice and without with a reasonable bias. She failed to show no tri fact has found clear and convincing evidence that malice required for the the the malice required for punitive damages and she’s not proven uh or found the actual compensatory uh damages like the amount of money required or a basis to calculate such punitive damages on top of the fact that it’s like California civil code and uh the extr territorial application um etc etc all very obvious and clear reasons and it’s like why are we even here Blake like I’m getting fed up. She keeps trying to sort of fast forward Cam in my opinion like all right give me the give me the verdict give me the money and and she’s doing all this on this pretense of well because you know the victims need this in case to to fight you know fight people and and and it infuriates me Kim because I really feel like what she’s doing with this is going to almost if anything hurt future people who use this if it doesn’t work the way she thinks it is which it very well could am I crazy in my thoughts here are you feeling the frustration of survivors all elsewhere that Blake Lively is trying to be the case study of this California legislation. I I do think it is frustrating. I don’t think that this is the case that should rule on this because it is a California code. It is not in New York. It is not federal to my knowledge. And it’s just like, and I I’m honestly I’m not 100% sure all the details of that, but I don’t think the Southern District of New York should be ruling for the first time on a California code. I think that is concerning, especially when there have been a lot of questions about the wording of 47.1 and the potential domino effect that it can have. You know, there’s been people that are arguing that it’s not constitutional. There’s all types of those issues, but I think the most interesting thing to me about this is the idea of malice and that they’re basically arguing, okay, Ryan Reynolds was found to not have malice. Leslie Sloan was, but Blake was not because Blake’s speech was protected by the CRD complaint, but that doesn’t mean that malice was not a part of the equation. And then they cite a deposition by Justin’s uh WME representative, which if you remember back in December of last year, Justin was dropped by WME very shortly after that New York Times piece hit. So, I think that’s going to be an interesting part. And I’m wonder I’m guessing that that is a sneak peek essentially of what we would see argued at trial to try to prove malice on Blake’s part. Yeah. Yeah, I mean there’s so much they have to prove and they’ve proven nothing yet and that’s the reality of like we we should have waited until this case was done before we are here doing this whole thing like the fact that she’s trying to jump ahead to get the money and get punitive damages and I like basically I won right your honor like but the what money if we don’t have a number to multiply how do we know well right and and the judge does not have to rule on this in fact the judge should be waiting because that’s what they typically do in this because he has every right to wait and sort of see how the trial plays out. What is the evidence? What does a jury decide? What does a or a court order decide? That’s when this should be done. And it’s kind of frustrating to me that this is even allowed to be filed in ahead of time where it’s like, dude, there should be punishments for overfiling doing this stuff o over extra on both sides because this should obviously be something that’s decided once a verdict or decision has been made and then you can go and file for these things. So, it’s just wild the amount of stuff that’s happening. Now I add to that on top of it we are getting word of more depositions happening clearly this week must be more I imagine but we are learning from just inside that they’ve deposed uh Vivian Baker who’s Blake Lively’s makeup artist they’ve also deposed uh Warren Zavla M lively’s talent agent at WME and uh Danny Greenberg Justin Baldon’s former talent agent at WME so again depositions where they have to sit and tell everything they know they can’t not answer questions they can’t pretend like they don’t know this is the opportunity for people to come in. I’m sure this list is only going to grow, Kim, as we progress. They’re trying to get Taylor on this as well. Apparently, so much so that they’re jumping over goalposts and stuff to get it. Now, as someone who was deposed, which you can see in the latest trailer, there I am getting subpoenaed uh in person. This guy did not break into my house, Kim, or do anything illegal. In fact, he was ensuring that he did everything by the book because that’s how this goes down. So, I I’m struggling with this. This makes no sense. Uh, but can they still get Taylor? I don’t know at this point, honestly, guys. It’s a little confusing. All I know is she did was not denied. All these reports are coming in saying that, you know, her deposition was denied. No, it was just not extended. So, there still could be a chance they get Taylor. Although, her lawyers are pretty damn good. She might be able to skip this. But, it’s interesting to see these other people mentioned. So, we’ll see if that matters. The the makeup artist specifically because they apparently were there to witness at least some stuff with Jamie Heath. What’s that going to prove? Will will people accept a witness that’s plague Lively’s makeup person sort of confirming her story? Um, have they been waiting to to not, you know, do anything till trial? Um, we’ll see. But this is where information is coming in and at least Justin’s side gets to hear her stance before she would take the stand so they can prep and not be surprised and they’ll be able to know sort of what she’s going to allege so they can plan their stuff. Now, uh, beyond that, Ruby Rose stepped in out of nowhere. We’re going to look more into this, but the actress from Batwoman, we’ve reported on her allegedly. I’ve just I’ll be careful. I’m going to say allegedly, but we had a crew member who I did confirm was a crew member, did not have nice things to say about Ruby Rose in an accident that was on set and some seemingly crazy shenanigans taking advantage of the production, the insurance, etc. over an injury. The crew was not happy with her the way she did these things. So I take I take this with an extra grain of salt knowing that history with her and she immediately is jumping in to call out Freeman who I guess was one of the lawyers against one of her cases for WB during Batwoman and now she’s just buying sipping this immediately. Oh, Brian Freeman was one of the at least six lawyers against me and Warner Brothers sent a private investigator Brian’s favorite tool to scare people to break into Travis Kelce’s property at 2 a.m. and give her a deposition document despite the courts recently shutting the request down. No, they didn’t. uh he needs to be investigated for his antics. Frightening. But this is where I got people out there who are just just desperate to uh you know hate on Brian because they lost their own cases or have their own frustrations. Uh and uh this is where we’re at now. So it’s like look, I still don’t buy this. This makes no sense that anyone would do this at 2 a.m. Kim, what do you think? No, I there’s Okay, so here’s the thing. If we find out that Brian Freriedman called this person and said, “I want you to jump the fence and break into Taylor Swift’s house,” then yeah, shame on him. But there’s a part of me that goes like, there’s no way. There’s like I have a lot of trouble making that assumption. What I see with this individual is someone who’s clearly unhinged that thought that it was a good idea to try to break into a celebrity, a football player’s home to go after one of the most famous women in the world. Like, what was the plan? Break down the front door and go and check out their bedroom and get her to sign? Like, what was the point? There’s no also just established as we were looking it up in in Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri, it is a stand your ground state. So breaking into Travis Kelsey’s house at 2 a.m. could get you unal alived, right, Kim? That’s another reason why I don’t believe it. Yeah, very bad idea. So I think honestly I find it fascinating that we have not had any clarification on this story with Star. Um they do have sometimes a reputation of not being completely accurate. We also know from the Star article itself that we don’t have all the details because a bunch of it is sealed. So I don’t know what happened. You don’t know what happened. We have no idea what happened. I’d like to know, but this is insane. And that that’s kind of where I I’m I’m landing at this point on it. Don’t break into people’s houses.
