      I just finished watching a segment on Trumps speech at the United Nations….

      I remember being a younger man watching some of the third world dictator speeches at the United Nations and thinking “These are lunatics…”

      Well…

      I can say one thing for sure. Trump really has outdone them…

      That was something else to watch.

      Get active people, join the protests for the Labour Movement, Environmentalist Movement, Women’s Rights/LGBTQ+ Rights/General Civil Rights Movement, and so forth.

      Make sure the primaries are a KNOCK OUT!

      Make sure this guy is kicked out next election one way or the other.

      You can’t have someone more moronic and insane than third world dictators running the United States of America unchecked.

      It drags not only the U.S. down it drags the whole world down the toilet with it.

      Trump and his cronies are a perfect example of why you can’t let reactionaries and regressive elements have state power…

      Appreciate that he used this return to highlight the attacks against the press and the first amendment; I will say I think it’s important to point out that it *is* bad that they’re trying to control late night comedian shows as well, Kimmel didn’t say anything that was untrue or make light of the situation. This is the kind of pushback we should be doing more of.

      Lol he’s probably generated more viewers from being cancelled than any time in the last few months. Disney probably gave him the green light to go and stoke a few more coals and get a fire going again soley because it’s bringing in viewers. Trumps mouth works both ways I guess.
      At some point, being called out by trump is going to be a badge of honour for journalists

      Great to see he’s swinging as expected.

      I’ve seen so many comments of ‘damn he’s unfunny but I support him’, I have been a staunch watcher of TDS and Colbert Report back in the day, and honestly some of his monologues especially in the Trump eras have been pretty scathing and you can tell he cares, especially regarding the US health system when he gave updates of his son’s heart complications.

      I think maybe people have old ‘Man Show’ Jimmy Kimmel in their head and maybe his Oscar hosting bits, but for a Late Night host that’s to appeal to a wide public, I’d even say that some of them are harsher than (pre-cancellation) Colbert’s Late Show bits.

      Anyway, I hope this is the turning tide for the Strike Force Five to continue going scorched earth… except for the lesser Jimmy.
