James Van Der Beek’s Wife Speaks Out After ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Reunion | E! News

We’ll be unwinding this one for a while, but thank you for the love and the support. Kimberly Vanderbeek is feeling thankful. James Vanderbeek’s wife shared an emotional video on Instagram after the Dawson’s Creek reunion on September 22nd at the Richard Rogers Theater in New York. James, who played Dawson Liry on the show for six seasons, had to miss the event due to two stomach viruses amid his battle with stage three colurectal cancer. But he surprised the audience with a video appearance during the show. The one night only reunion, which Kimberly attended with her and James’ kids, helped raise money for F Cancer. In her video posted to Instagram September 22nd that she recorded from her bed after the show, she thanked everyone for their support. Uh we’ll be unwinding this one for a while, but thank you for the love and the support and for the prayers cuz Right here, front and center is my husband on my heart and it was a beautiful night and I miss my husband. You know, I can’t wait to go see him tomorrow. She also thanked the cast and crew writing next to a photo of her with Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, and Bizzy Phillips. Quote, “Going deeper with these ladies has been so bittersweet. They are magic, kind, gifted, heartforward, and sacred. missed my guy so, but the support and the love has been healing to the core. We’ll post more along the way. This was a fun, spontaneous one as we all ran up and down several flights of stairs to our dressing rooms. [Music]
