America’s Got Talent Season 20 Winner Revealed | E! News

America’s Got Talent has crowned a new champion. A very pregnant Jessica Sanchez won season 20 of the NBC reality competition series, taking home the coveted $1 million prize as announced during the September 24th finale. Jessica [Applause] Jessica, you’re the new AGT champion. How does that feel? I’m sorry. I’m really emotional. This is amazing. Thank you so much. The now 30-year-old first competed on America’s Got Talent during its debut season 20 years ago when she was just 10 years old. Though eliminated two decades later, she returned to the stage and even performed while pregnant throughout the season. As for her winning performance, Jessica sings her rendition of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’s 2024 hit Die with a Smile during finale night. And I don’t want to be next to you. [Applause] In 2012, Jessica took her talents to the 11th season of American Idol, where she placed second after Philip Phillips won the competition series. The following year, she released her debut album, Meu, and the Music, and even appeared on the hit show Glee. [Music]
