Y’all, I am still trying to wrap my brain around not this, but what just happened with me and them. Hello, my frame. It is Perez, the queen of all media, the original influencer, Kardashian Jenner expert, and the family has just threatened me with legal action. But to go forward, we must take a step back. Yeah, did he? You might have heard because this has been everywhere. Ray J was live streaming this week and he had some eyeopening things to say. Kim Kardashian’s former adult tape partner shared with the world the following quote. The federal RICO I’m about to drop on Chris and Kim is about to be crazy. If you’re not familiar with the term RICO, thanks or no thanks to Diddy. It stands for the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and he stood trial for that. Rico is designed to prosecute members of a criminal empire. What? Conducting organized crime. Ray J continued saying, “I’m talking about I’m on the news every day. Anybody who knows Kim and is cool with Kim, the rain is coming. The feds are coming. There’s nothing I can do about it. It’s worse than Diddy, Ray J threatened. It’s worse than Diddy, he said a second time. The feds are coming to investigate. Well, just moments ago, I got a letter from their lawyer, Alex Spiro. Hello, Quinn Emanuel. I know you’re going to be watching this and unfortunately poor Chris and Kim are going to have to pay for some parallegal to be watching my video now. But I appreciate the view. Hey parallegal, I cannot wait to read to you all this threatening letter and also share my response. My response is better than the letter. But first, let’s get to what they say through their attorney. And if the name Alex Spiro rings a bell, it’s because this year he represented Jay-Z, whom I publicly supported. I did not believe those wild allegations that have since been recanted against him, but doesn’t matter. Different clients. And what I really want to know is was it their idea to go legal or was it his idea? Because well, let me wait cuz I say it in my response. Let me show you this cuz you’re going to see something right away. today’s date by email. To whom it may concern to whom it may concern Quinn Emanuel, Alex Spiro andor his parallegal are so lazy or trying to save them money they couldn’t even personalize the threatening email they sent to me to whom it may concern. What they’re doing is very Trumpian. On behalf of the Kardashian Jenners, Alex Spiro is threatening the media, trying to scare them, intimidate them. Will it work with me? I mean, I’m making this video. I know. Let me wait because I say it all in my response. Ah. H to whom it may concern. It doesn’t concern me, Alex Spiro. We represent the Kardashian family regarding the publication of demonstrably false and defamatory content on your platform. Published on or around September 25th, 2025. Once again, so lazy. They didn’t mention my platform. Please check it out. Read it every day, several times a day. They didn’t include a link to my article. Please search for it and read it. Okay. And this threatening letter continues saying, “We write to respectfully bring to your attention that your content contains materially false statements regarding alleged federal investigations that do not exist. We believe this matter can be resolved promptly through your voluntary removal of the content and publication of an appropriate clarification. Let me briefly super fast read what I wrote on my fabulous important and journalistic website. P to the E to the R to the E to the Z to the H to the I to the L to the T to the O to the N.com. The headline, Ray J going after Kim Kardashian and Chris Jenner says he’s working with feds to build a RICO case worse than Diddy. Good headline. The feds are coming for the Kardashians. At least according to Kim Kardashian’s ex. See what that says there? The feds are coming for the Kardashians. At least according to Kim Kardashian’s X. I never said the feds are coming for them. I never presented that as fact. Ray J is going viral after footage surfaced of him claiming he’s working with authorities to build a RICO case against his one-time S to the Echis tape co-star. And not just the SKIM’s founder either her momager Chris Jenner too Rico as in racketeering. Whoa. The moment comes from a recent stream of rapper Christian Rocks where the 44year-old was heard off camera gloating about a legal storm brewing. In the footage he says this federal RICO though KK and Chris the federal RICO I’m about to drop on Chris and Kim is about to be crazy. For those who don’t know, RICO refers to the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which is designed to prosecute members of a criminal empire conducting ongoing organized crime rather than a singular crime. Ray J added, I say on my website, quote, I’m talking about I’m on the news every day. Anybody who knows Kim and is cool with Kim, the rain is coming. The feds are coming. There’s nothing I can do about it. He even went as far as to compare it to Diddy’s federal case, teasing it’d be even worse. Quote, “It’s worse than Diddy. It’s worse than Diddy. The feds are coming to investigate.” DJ Academics has since published the stream clip on his I to the G, and Ray J took to the comments to double down. He wrote, quote, “It’s real funny. lol until it ain’t funny no more. It’s not clear, my article continues, what specific crimes Ray J thinks he’s helping feds build a case against Kim and Chris for. But if this turns out to just be a bunch of nonsense, we have a feeling he will end up being on the wrong end of a case. a civil lawsuit for defamation maybe because like he said it’s not all that funny. In fact, if anything, my article was supportive of them. I like them. I know them. And that’s also what’s crazy. They both have my email. They both have my cell phone. If Kim and Chris were so bothered by what I wrote, they could have reached out to me personally or directly through a publicist. But having Alex Spiro send me a scary letter. I’m not scared. Alex Spiro. Uh-uh. I’m crazy. And now that I’ve dealt with Blake Lively, I know I can handle anything on my own. Alex Spiro’s email continues saying, “The grainman of our concern centers on your publications uncritical.” Did he not even read what I wrote? My publications sharing of what Ray J said was very critical. Guess the bill. The grainmen of our concern centers on your publication’s uncritical amplification of Mr. William Ray Norwood Jr.’s Ray J entirely unfounded claims that members of the Kardashian family are currently under investigation for RICO charges and that it’s worse than Diddy. We state unequivocally that no such federal investigation exists. No law enforcement agency has initiated any criminal proceedings or investigations related to racketeering charges against our clients. How would he know? And no credible evidence whatsoever supports these inflammatory allegations. Good to know if what this lawyer is saying is true. The publication of such serious criminal accusations without any attempt at verification or corroboration from legitimate law enforcement sources constitutes defamation per se under California law. as these statements falsely impute criminal conduct and cause immediate and presumed reputational damage. First of all, the words written on my website are not lialist or defamatory whatsoever. That’s why I shared with you all what was written. I shared something that was newsworthy from somebody whom I believed could have legitimate information. Somebody who was intimate, knew her, dated her for years. I did not present it as fact. And thanks to Justin Baldon’s nemesis, I know even more about defamation. I did not share anything with malice. There was no malice. Okay, Alex Spiro, you would know that, Alex, if you actually read my article before you told your poor parallegal to blanket share this email to everybody who posted about what Ray J said on that live stream. Shout out to Carly Carter of Quinn Emanuel. Not only did I share what I did without malice, but also we know the bar for defaming a public figure is much higher than defaming a civilian. And this does not cause any reputational damage for Kim Kardashian or Kris Jenner. Their reputation is what it is. proving reputational damage will be a chore. Today’s letter threatening email says the publication of these allegations without making even a cursory attempt to verify them with federal law enforcement authorities who would have readily confirmed that no such investigation exists constitutes textbook reckless disregard for the truth under the actual malice standard. Oh, he’s bringing in malice. wrong. Your reliance on the unsubstantiated assertions of an individual with a documented history of making false and antagonistic statements about our clients without appropriate disclaimers. I did include disclaimers. This is what’s so upsetting. without appropriate disclaimers or verification protocols represents a fundamental breach of journalistic standards and demonstrates reckless disregard for truth. Mr. Norwood’s pattern of unfounded allegations against the Kardashian family and others is well documented and undermines any claim to credibility regarding these serious accusations. Most recently, Mr. Norwood lied about having an intimate relationship with recording artist Janae Wary. Sexy Red, a claim which he subsequently retracted and admitted he went out of control. I didn’t know that. I don’t follow Ray J. I’m not paying attention to what he does, but I cover Kim Kardashian a lot. I pay attention to her. This this came across my feed. I did not know Ray J has this history of being a proven liar. And still, a broken clock is right twice a day. This story got a lot of virality and pickup because what what if he was telling the truth? What if he did know something? This letter continues, “His apparent motivation to generate publicity through sensationalized and false claims about our clients, combined with his acknowledged personal animosity toward the family, renders his statements inherently unreliable and unsuitable for publication as factual reporting.” I did not I never said this was true. I said, “Wow, this was a wild live stream. He said all these wild things and I said could be true, could not be true. I was critical. I had disclaimers. Alex Spiro is being very sloppy.” His email continues, “The decision to publish these baseless allegations without independent verification or appropriate qualification exposes your publication to substantial liability for defamation, false light, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Here’s what I don’t understand. instead of going after the media, which is just shocking coming from the Kardashian Jenners, they should be going after Ray J, right? After all these years, these two should be thankful people are still talking about them. Alex says, “We hereby demand immediate removal of the September 25th, 2025 article and all related content perpetuating these false RICO allegations. Publication of a prominent retraction clarifying that no RICO investigation exists involving any member of the Kardashian family. According to their lawyer, it might exist. I don’t know. Could be true. Could not be true. Pre preservation of all documents and communications related to this publication, including correspondence with Mr. Norwood. None exists. I’ve not talked to this guy. And written confirmation of compliance with these demands within 48 hours of receipt of this letter. They’re making demands through their lawyer. The serious nature of falsely alleging federal criminal investigation cannot be overstated. And your platform’s continued dissemination of these baseless allegations causes ongoing and compounding harm with each moment the content remains accessible to the public. We trust you will act responsibly and expeditiously to correct this serious error in judgment and prevent further damage through continued publication of these false and defamatory statements. As of the time that I’m making this video, the TMZ article, the Entertainment Tonight article, and the NewsNation article are still up, and none have issued a retraction or a clarification. However, I tell Alex Spiro, I just went back and read the post on my website and there is literally nothing even remotely objectionable about what we wrote, how we shared this newsworthy content.
