Tom Holland Speaks Out After Suffering Concussion While Filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tom Holland is swinging back to good health. One week after suffering a mild concussion on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment of his Spider-Man franchise, the 29-year-old shares an update on his well-being while recapping a charity event held by his nonprofit, The Brothers Trust, in London. Writing alongside a highlight video of the fundraiser, I’m sorry I had to leave early, but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier. And although his concussion forced him to briefly step away from filming the new Spider-Man movie, Tom has been vocal about how quote over the mood he is to be back in his Spidey suit, especially given the last film’s limitations. As he told Flip Your Wig in July, “Playing Spider-Man is like hanging out with an old pal. I think we were really restricted with what we could do in the last movie because of co we shot the entire film on stages. Now, we’re really going to lean into that old school film making and shoot in real locations. We better use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive setpiece that we’re putting together. So, it’s going to feel like making Spider-Man 1 again.
