All right, we are still rolling. We’re going to try this again. Taylor Swift plays the role of her own worst critic in a hilarious new promo for her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. In a video shared to her Instagram on September 29th, Taylor, the director, gives Taylor the Showgirl, some feedback ahead of the roll out of the album and an exclusive vinyl edition. And director Taylor definitely has notes. All right, we are still rolling. We’re going to try this again. Okay, we’re elegant. We’re luxurious. We’re in front of the most beautiful pink vinyl we’ve ever seen. What is going on with the posture? It’s giving no girl, not showgirl. What are What are we doing? Elegance, charm, not that. She’s got cat hair all over her. Is there a school we could very quickly send her to? Come on, honey. This is show business. The superstar poking more fun at herself in the caption, which reads, “She’s got 4 days left to rehearse for her big moment.” Indeed, Taylor has promised us a peak behind the curtain of showgirl life with her upcoming album, which she previously revealed she wrote while on the eras tour. The singer gushed about the project on the August 13th episode of Beyonce Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. I would be playing shows. I’d do like three shows in a row. I’d have three days off. I’d fly to Sweden, go back to the tour, and actually like working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating. And this is and literally living the life of a showgirl. I was I was while she wrote it. That’s why I said that’s why I called it that. [Music]
