I don’t know how to properly articulate this, and I hope someone expands on the thought here, but to call this the “canary in the coal mine” is a bit ridiculous. Absolutely agree that the fact rich, white women are not being spared the impacts of misogyny is alarming, but the U.S. has had a roadmap of misogyny laid out in Project 2025. If you haven’t seen the signs already, you must have had your eyes closed.
