that show is truly wild… two BROTHERS!?

lmao and no one in the show really comments on the fact that she’s just ping-ponging between two brothers is crazy

and the fact that this genre is apparently so popular that netflix has it’s own ranch version of 1 girl 2 brothers???

I haven’t watched season 3 yet but doesn’t Jeremiah >!cheat on Belly in a Friends “we were on a break” kind of way, asks her to pick between him and going to Paris for school, charge a bunch of money to credit cards for his “perfect wedding” including an 800$ cake while she buys her dress at a prom store in the mall and him and his grooms men (which includes his ex-boyfriend) get fitted suits and go to Mexico for a bachelor party?!<

      Seems pretty toxic to me.

One of the best things about myself is that I feel no FOMO, so I see so many people talking about this show online but I still have no desire to watch. My only take is that the main girl is very pretty and the guys are meh.

    4. Just because you don’t like Conrad, doesn’t mean you need to be team Jere. They can both be bad options. Lol.

    5. I never watched the show but from everything I saw I was team “please date someone outside this gene pool”

IGNORE THAT THEY ARE BROTHERS but this is the wrong answer to which team you should be on

    7. Omg I hate that fucking question. Not everyone watches that show. In fact, that question has put me off the show.

    8. once again i messed up the title, i meant ”____ pattinson if they’re ____“

i feel like at this point, a grammatical error is my speciality

    9. Jennifer being Team Jeremiah is the least surprising thing to me because he’s a total goofball in his best moments.

    10. I won’t be watching. This and Love Island being everywhere makes me feel the exact opposite of wanting to see either show 😭😭

Like I suffered through most of The Vampire Diaries. At least they had magic.

    11. Public service announcement: if you haven’t watched The Summer I Turned Pretty just don’t do it. I binged it last month and regret doing so. JLaw is right, Conrad is toxic and his toxicity is disturbingly romanticized. The fandom is the most vicious and unhinged I’ve ever encountered. People who call themselves Bonrads on social media (the fans who want the main character Belly and toxic Conrad to be together) are generally Swifties, but extra unhinged.

      Good for Jen lol
I’m team Belly should be with neither, but to me if it has to be one, Jeremiah is way less toxic. I saw an edit of Conrad/Belly where it was made to look like a horror movie and it was pretty accurate lol

I feel like we can be team neither?

Listen, that beach house is nice as hell. Love the pool. Love the wallpaper. Would rent on Vrbo if I had that kind of money.

Is the house worth screwing two brothers and ping-ponging between them? Eh. Ehh. I dont know.

Side note but whoever styled Conrad’s hair in season 3 (the only season I’ve seen anything from) has a lot to answer for. Its so flat. The actor has better hair in real life so idk what happened there. Jere has much nicer hair but he looks like one of my pseudo-cousins so its an automatic no because I have to double take every time he’s on screen.

    14. 100% here for Robert Pattinson hearing about non-Twilight fandom drama for the first time. Can we get a whole podcast about this?

    15. Lol using the term “toxic” is so extra, it’s a romance show. We’d never have any of the great romances of our time if we deemed any conflict keeping a couple apart as “toxic” lol. The “we can’t be together right now” for x y or z reason, the love confession right before she walks down the aisle are just romantic tropes! None of it needs to be viewed in the lens of reality.

    16. She’s wrong in this take, very, very wrong, but I wouldn’t expect anything else from her.
