Taylor Swift’s role in Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco revealed. Multiple outlets reporting that the superstar singer gave a toast to her longtime friend Selena and new husband Benny at their September 27th wedding reception. And she wasn’t alone. Fellow musician Ed Sheeran also toasting the newlyweds. He and Benny go way back. Having worked on several albums together. The wedding day was reportedly full of other A-list pals, including Selena’s Only Murder co-stars Martin Schwarz, Steve Martin, and Paul Rudd. As far as we know, Taylor did not fulfill her previous offer to be Selena’s flower girl. But we’re guessing she brought down the house in her speech for Cell. After all, the besties have plenty of shared history to draw from. The two have been friends for 16 years. Prior to the wedding, Selena telling the Therapist podcast how she and Taylor initially bonded because they both dated members of the Jonas Brothers.
