Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated according to multiple outlets. The news comes after the actress put in an application to become a resident of Portugal. And while no other name was listed on the form, her husband Keith still planned to join Nicole in the international move. A source with knowledge of the situation told E July 24th, Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the US and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa. He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule. However, the insider added, “While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville.” Keith and Nicole tied the knot in 2006 and have two children together, daughters Sunday and Faith. Nicole also shares daughter Isabella and son Connor with ex Tom Cruz. In a 2019 interview with People magazine, Nicole opened up about getting through tough times in relationships. Telling the outlet, “Real love happens not when everything is going well, but when things are going badly. It’s when human beings come together, if they’re going to, in a far deeper way. This is so sad to hear. I was shocked to hear of this devastating news. They seemed so happy together. They showed their love publicly everywhere they went.
I hope they find happiness and comfort in their future endeavors. Imo, I feel something else was going on due to their split. Keith has been in and out of rehab numerous times. He tours quite a bit. Maybe Nicole felt "enough is enough." She's an excellent actress. People change for many reasons. I wish them the very best as well as their two daughters.

Keith urban married Nicole for her money, just like his father told him, according to his druggy Wyatt girl friend! He cheated on Nicole with the Wyatt druggy even during their engagement and his so-called 'breakdown' 4 months into their marriage was actually his drinking and womanising binge while Nicole was away working in Rome! She had to cut her work trip return to Nashville and persuaded him to go to rehab not just to get addiction treatment but also decide to stay married to her. I guess he figured the money was too much to let go so he stayed in the relationship abiding his time till now. He is a good pretender and self interested manipulative narcissistic who has fooled everyone that he is committed to the marriage while secretively having affairs which occasionally surface and he never comments apart from the occasional slip of the tongue giving him away. Not at all trustworthy as his 3 faithful band members found out in January when he ruthlessly sacked them! Another person who once worked with him in a band in Nashville described Keith in urban as ruthless and secretively manipulative! I just hope that Nicole has wisely managed her affairs well enough not get done in the divorce settlement! He has been planning this for some 20 years after roll!

It’s sad that after 20 years together plus all that they’ve gone thru that they separate. I hope they get family counseling and stay together. It can be done. Their children are getting older and will be leaving the “Nest”. They just need to learn to be just a couple again. My half brother and my sister in law were married for over 40 years. They had 4 very active boys. My sister in law said that they had a Date night at least once a month more if they could afford it. Or that they would go away on just them weekends. But she said that they both had separate hobbies but they also learned things together. And after all the boys were gone out of the house, she said they even did more things together. They were married till my half brother died of a heart attack. But both parties have to work at it. I think that’s what’s wrong now days no one works at staying together.
