How Jennifer Lopez Bonds With 17-Year-Old Twins Max & Emme | E! News

I have a musical theater kid right now and so I’m living my best life. Jennifer Lopez reveals the way she bonds with 17-year-old twins Max and Emmy. The Kiss of a Spiderwoman star admits that her and Mark Anony’s 17-year-old twins are following in her footsteps when it comes to her love for Broadway. Jennifer says this during a September 28th CBS Sunday Morning interview. And now I take my kids to see as many shows as I can. Do you really? Yeah. So, what do they think of music? They love music. And I have a musical theater kid right now and so I’m living my best life. They like go away to camp for musical theater and they do all the shows and I get to see them and it’s fantastic. And while the 56-year-old does not specify whether it is Max or Emmy who has more of a knack for theater, she has stepped out with the latter teen at several Broadway shows in the last few months, including Athell in March and Goodn Night and Good Luck the following month. As for whether the Hustler star anticipates her twins ever being the ones to take the stage, she says this. And I Yeah, I try to expose them to all that stuff that my mom did for me because I know how much it impacted my life. Do you think they’ll go into the business? I don’t know. This generation is different. It’s not as I don’t know. Maybe cuz my kids are growing up different than I did. So, I grew up kind of with nothing and they’re growing up, you know, very kind of privileged in a way. And it’s different. So, I don’t know that they have that same ambition and, you know, drive and push that I have or that far off goal that you Yeah. that they’re like they’re like, “I’m just going to live my life and be happy.” I think they’re more interested in being happy, which I’m really glad about. However, Jennifer does admit that she has another way she hopes her teenagers shine into adulthood. And I remember sitting them both down, maybe when they were about 10 or 11 years old, and I was like, “Do you understand what I want for you when I tell you to do this or this or that?” I forgot what we were talking about. And yes, you care about grades, but you don’t care about them as much as character. I said, “Yes, I want you to be have good grades, but I want you to be good people.” Yeah, that’s what’s important to me. Kiss of the Spiderwoman hits theaters on October 10th. [Music]
