Tom Holland Corrects Reporter Who Calls Zendaya His Girlfriend | E! News

Tom Holland is making sure everyone knows his relationship status. The Spider-Man No Way Home star adorably corrected a journalist who referred to Zenaia as his girlfriend while speaking on a panel. In a clip shared to X September 29th, the reporter tells Tom, quote, “I brought my daughter and she got to meet your girlfriend, so I was father of the year.” But in response to the story, Tom laughed off the label before quickly correcting fiance. Of course, it’s no surprise the actor would want to set the record straight on his relationship with Zenaia, which was first made public in 2021. After all, his dad, Dominic Holland, made it clear that a lot of thought went into his proposal, which happened over the 2024 holiday season. Dominic wrote in a Patreon post back in January, quote, he had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out, when, where, how, what to say, what to wear. And Zenaia is equally as pumped to show off proof that she’s headed down the aisle. The actress was the one who put the spotlight on her new milestone back in January when she stepped out at the 2025 Golden Globes, rocking her massive 5karat diamond on that finger. [Music]
