Christina Haack Says She Turned Down Ex Josh Hall’s First Proposal | E! News
Christina Hawk’s first proposal from Josh Hall was a bit of a flop. The HGTV star who finalized her divorce from the realtor back in August after two years of marriage revealed that she turned down her now ex-husband when he initially popped the question, telling people in an interview October 1st, quote, “The first time he proposed, I said no and he threw the ring in the pool. That was probably red flag number one.” She adds, quote, I don’t think anyone’s ever heard that story before. Sorry, it’s true. The 42-year-old, who started dating Josh in February 2021 before getting engaged that August, noted that she wasn’t ready to commit to him at that moment. She recalled to the outlet, quote, “We weren’t getting along super great even then. Off and on, when things were good, they were good, but it just felt like I wasn’t quite ready, and so I just said, this is not the right time.” And while the reality star who shares kids Taylor and Braden with ex Taric Elm Musa and son Hudson with ex-husband Aunt Anstead has clear memories of the proposal, Josh appears to have no recollection of the moment. If Tarek would have just let her use the Tiles and marble she wanted in remodeling shows their marriage might have lasted..He was so dismissive to her ideas on HGTV just so he could save 2 thousand bucks. She probably felt belittled and not validated for years..I know, because I watched almost ALL of their shows. The crazy thing is he NOW lets Heather spend and DO whatever she wants on projects and is not so stingy with her budget. Tarek is a neurotic mess with money and profit always on his brain 🧠 🙄 but he's mellowed out a little. Now he pretends to have sympathy for Christina for optics, and Christina needs to just leave show biz and spend quality time with her kids and stop subjecting them to every rando guy she gets infatuated with…juss saying

All of this noise has reduced my respect for her immeasurably. I thought highly of her in the first few seasons, when she had the same partner, seemed levelheaded and stable.❤
