Prince William has made his first mention of his brother Prince Harry in several months amid their public row as he hinted at changes when he is King.

The brothers have reportedly not seen each other in months, with Harry recently meeting with his father King Charles during a visit to the UK, but did not see his older sibling, the Prince of Wales.

Their feud seemingly worsened after Harry said in his explosive Netflix show with his wife Meghan in 2022 that they “lied” to protect his brother, reports the Mirror.

He said: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother” while Meghan was “fed to the wolves”. But Harry later insisted he didn’t air his “dirty laundry” with his tell all interviews.

He said: “I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.”

Now, in a new conversation with actor Eugene Levy on his Apple+ travel series, The Reluctant Traveller, William was asked about his son, Prince George, becoming King one day, which led to him mentioning his younger sibling.

The heir to the throne commented: “It’s an interesting question and it’s a big question that one. Because there’s lots of things to think about with that.

“But obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better.

“That is caveated with, I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up in – and I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation,” she said.

When Eugene suggested that the monarchy will be shifting in a slightly different direction, William went on: “I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good.

“And I embrace that and I enjoy that change – I don’t fear it. That’s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen.”

Whilst Harry has spoken openly about his brother, including in his memoir Spare, William has remained tight lipped about his brother and their feud.

In his memoir, Harry claimed the pair had a physical fight. He alleged he offered William a glass of water before the situation escalated.
