Yep, I’m done defending her. Maybe it’s time to stop painting her as “Little Miss Nice Girl” when clearly she’s not. She loves playing the victim way too much.

every lyric i’ve seen from this album is like a try-hard instagram caption

Actually Romantic is so nasty and vindictive… I already knew of Taylor being a “mean girl,” but this is so blatant.

    4. Only Taylor can hear the lyrics to “Sympathy is a Knife” and take it as a personal attack. She has the emotional intelligence of a rock.

I don’t have a dog in this fight. I have found Taylor’s MAGA adjacent friendliness beyond the pale and view her in a different light than I did a decade ago. But, part of me says this is the same as a lot of industry ‘beef.’ There might be some truth to it but a lot of it is manufactured to sell records and get people listening to tracks. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship and club and we ain’t in it

      I call it Conditional Feminism.

I’ll support you while you play by the rules, be one of the girls, side with me, don’t go after my man or my success. But the moment you do, you are so fucked and you’re trash, a drug user, a whore, in love with me lol.

Can someone explain the lore behind her beef w Charli? Kind of out of the loop on this one. Did Charli ever do anything to Taylor?

Sympathy is a knife and brat in general are truly beautiful pieces of art. The lyrics to actually romantic signal to me that Taylor didn’t understand the nuance of SIAK. Those lyrics are awful

    9. Wasn’t charli the one that had beef with fka twigs and rina and sided with her racist friend matty healy? She’s also not a girl’s girl at all

    10. Idk about what happened backstage but like Charli’s song wasn’t even a diss track. She put the blame on herself for being insecure and feeling less than compared to Taylor’s huge success
