Prince William breaks silence after Prince Harry pulled him in legal battle
In a surprising twist, Prince William has unexpectedly given his younger brother Prince Harry a rare nod despite their strained relationship.
Appearing in the latest episode of Eugene Levy’s series, The Reluctant Traveler, the 43-year-old Prince of Wales offered a look into his childhood, his marriage to Kate and his future in the monarchy.
In a candid moment, the Schitt’s Creek star pressed William on his feelings about his 12-year-old son Prince George taking the throne someday, to which the Future King quipped, “Obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better.”
Continuing, “That is caveated with, I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up with, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation.”
“I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good,” the Prince expressed.
“And I embrace that and I enjoy that change. I don’t fear it. That’s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen.”
His mention of the Duke of Sussex comes after Harry pulled him and his wife Kate Middleton’s names in a legal battle with Daily Mail.
New High Court filings revealed that the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex alleged that private investigators tracked and spied on his brother.
His legal team submitted documents that reportedly revealed surveillance around William’s 21st birthday party, along with phone records tied to the Princess of Wales’ maiden name.
