Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was sentenced Friday to 4 years and 2 months in prison in case involving sex workers, violence and “freak-offs.” The judge said a lengthy sentence was needed for deterrence and that he was unconvinced that if Combs is released these crimes won’t happen again.

Combs, 55, was convicted in July of flying people across state lines for drug-fueled marathon sexual encounters. Jurors acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges that could have carried a life sentence.

Combs sentenced under the Mann Act: The Mann Act makes it illegal to transport someone across state lines for the purpose of prostitution or other illegal sex acts. Combs was convicted of counts involving two former girlfriends: the R&B singer Cassie and a woman who testified under the pseudonym Jane.

Prosecutors sought an 11-year sentence: Prosecutors urged a federal judge to reject leniency for the hip-hop mogul at his sentencing, saying they fear for their safety if he is freed as they seek to have Combs sentenced to at least 11 years and 3 months in prison for his conviction on two prostitution-related charges.

Combs tells judge he has been ‘reborn,’ asks for mercy: On the eve of his sentencing, Combs wrote a federal judge proclaiming himself to be a new man after realizing that he was “broken to my core.” He told Judge Arun Subramanian that with his mind clear of drugs and alcohol after a year in jail, he can see how rotten he had become before his September 2024 arrest in a case that led to his conviction on two prostitution-related counts.

    1. Fuck that. They should have put him away for life. Then put him under the prison so his ghost knows no peace

And then probably out in 1 or some shit right? This was just a huge fucking miscarriage of justice. This is not justice at all, god i feel so bad for all of his victims.

What weakass spineless judge was on this case? 4 years for all that?? System is a joke

Not long enough, that MF will still be able to cause harm from inside a prison

And he’ll probably serve less than half that behind bars

    7. They should’ve put him under the prison. Instead he will likely do half that. Oh and don’t forget time served. Absolutely embarrassing.

This fucking cunt should have got ten times this. Fucking scumbag will be out in no time

    9. Now we see if he goes for that pardon. Does he have enough money to get one from this administration?

    10. With time served and good behaviour he could be out in 2. Absolute bullshit. The rich get away with it again.

While 4 years is a ridiculously light punishment, it’s doubtful he even lasts there more than a few weeks tbh.

    12. i hope he has such a terrible time in there those 4 years feel like 4 centuries for him

Ugh. Thinking of the victims. They deserved to see him live the rest of his days out in prison, but sadly were failed by the justice system.

there’s people who have committed the most minor infractions who have been in prison for decades…..and this sex-trafficking rapist gets 4 years… sickening

All that and he gets four years. Why anyone still has faith in the justice system is beyond me.

It is specifically 50 months, and I feel like Diddy’s #1 hater 50 Cent had a hand in that.

    17. So are they ignoring the drugging, and possible underaged folks he was doing that to? (Beiber for example)

    18. I think this is only his first sentence. I’m pretty sure there are MULTIPLE cases open against him.

    19. Equal-Molasses9190 on

How dare the judge call this a substantial sentence for heinous crimes Diddy committed. Was there a large bag full of cash left at his doorstep or what? Because this terrible message for the many men and women who are afraid to seek justice.

Only 4 years. This guy is gonna come out and ruin everyone’s life who testified against him or didn’t take “his side”. He’s a monster and he’s not going to stop being one.

    21. WTF. He’ll probably be out in a year with time served and good behavior. And there’s a non-zero chance that Trump pardons him before that.
