Kate Gosselin Details “Life-Altering” Accident That Landed Her in ER | E! News

Kate Goslin reveals the shocking reason behind her recent accident that landed her in the emergency room. On Monday, September 29th, the nurse and former reality star posted an alarming Tik Tok image showing what appeared to be Kate’s arm hooked up to IVs with a heart monitor on her finger. Text on the pic read, “Please pray for me tonight and tomorrow. I will be fine, but I’m scared and would appreciate your prayers. Thanks, guys.” The following day, Kate went on TikTok Live to explain what the heck happened. Turns out the whole incident involved playtime with her dog, Ma. The celeb told followers Per People magazine that she and her boyfriend Steve decided to take Mika and her other dog Nanuk on a walk. We went to a little area where you can play in our neighborhood and were playing ball, Kate noted, adding, “My boyfriend threw the ball and she came running for it and she was running at the absolute speed of light and I stepped the wrong way. Mika ended up colliding with the side of Kate’s leg, fracturing it with the reality star declaring, “The pain was so bad I just crumbled on the ground.” The John and Kate Plus8 alum said the first time she attempted to get up, she felt stuff move in her leg and understandably freaked out. Ultimately, Kate says she ended up with a tibial plateau fracture and surgery with plates and pins in her leg. She added that the surgeon called the damage lifealtering. Ahead of her surgery, Kate posted a video update on Tik Tok, telling fans she would give them details of her injury in a later live. Hi guys, I’m still in the hospital. I think I scared you all. Um, so I’m weirdly going to go on live tonight to explain it. It’s the easiest way. Talking is the easiest to explain everything to you because it’s a long story. Um, and I’m going to do it 8:30 p.m. Eastern time. So, if you want to know why I’m in the hospital, I’ll explain the whole story to you. Um, if for some reason I don’t come on right at 8:30, it’s because they’re moving me to a different room. So, just be patient. I’ll come on as soon as I can. But the plan is 8:30 Eastern time tonight because I don’t want you guys to worry about me and I care about you. [Music]
