I didn’t even watch KDH because I don’t have Netflix but this made me UGLY CRY. Like I’m so happy for these women finding success!!! Ejae was considered “too old” to debut but obviously we don’t really have those age-prejudices in America (I am saying this as an Asian myself) , Rei Ami went to UMD (go Terps!), and I don’t think Audrey Nuna has really charted – but she has had Jack Harlow feature on one of her songs. 😭😭😭 More Asian singers in western spaces!! NOW!!! Especially when so many of us were forced to sing in Church services or during karaoke seshs at family gatherings!!

    2. As an elementary school teacher, I cannot understate how *obsessed* kids are with KPDH. Even the boys. In the case of my class, *especially* the boys, who sing along with all the songs, not just “Soda Pop”.

It is absolutely delightful! Excited to show them this video tomorrow!

    3. Thanks for sharing! I’m so happy for their success. I’m sure it wasn’t easy always being in the background and now they are finally having their moment in the spotlight. Well deserved!! 🌟

    4. This is the video I’ve been waiting for since I first saw KPDH. Truly no disrespect to the voice actors, they were great and I watched some of their interviews and loved hearing their perspective, but for a musical movie I also want to meet the singers! It’s a little sad that it took this long but I’m really glad they’re getting their moment, the music is what makes the movie so incredible.

SO GOOD. I would looove to hear them do What It Sounds Like live, especially with their harmonies.
