The survivor castaway attacked by a venomous snake, breaking down the harrowing emergency leading to his medical evacuation. Jake Vladimir in Entertainment Weekly’s October 9th interview, saying, quote, “I open my eyes and the snake is latched onto the bottom of my foot, mouth wide open.” I’m like, “Guys, I think this thing just bit me.” You’re in a survivor hospital. you’ve gone through something traumatic and now you’re finding out that your dream is being cut short through no fault of your own. Jake at the time an expecting father. He’d actually come to meet his son Jax only 48 hours after his early exit off the Fiji Island. His mindset on this stretcher, “Am I ever going to get off this island? Am I going to meet my child?” There’s no way, Jake, even in the next 48 hours, we could put you back out into such an unforgiving situation as Survivor. Despite losing his shot at Survivor’s prize pot, Jake Certain, quote, I think that God put that snake there for a reason. And I hate saying that because I wanted that game so bad, but I also got to see the birth of Jax, and that’s worth a million dollars. Yeah. I mean, this was my goal, man. This coming on the show was what I needed to do for my dad, for my for myself, for my for my kid to bring home some money and for something like this to pull me out of the game. It’s just not my fault cuz I I was doing good and I know I could win the show. I thought doctor’s orders, man. It’s been an absolute pleasure, Mr. Proof. Oh, Jake, it’s been a pleasure.

Sorry this happened to him but the people who participate in these type of shows are a little nuts. There is enough money in the world to get me to do what they do.

So the title is utterly misleading. No breakdown of recovery… just that he got home to see his child being born.
We do a Survivor pool every season. Each of us have a male and female contestant. Jake was my guy 😢. I'm so glad he's doing great and he was there to see baby Jax come into the world.

He got a dry bite. 2 little punctures. Half the contestants are walking around with worse injuries. He wasn't actively looking for a way out, but when the opportunity presented itself, he took it. His tribe was getting biblically destroyed. He knew he was getting voted out soon. He didn't want to continue. Jeff just covered for him in exchange for the fake drama. I was embarrassed for him, acting like he was dying. In that moment you could really see that under all those muscles, there's just a male dancer. He'll be back on another season
Could Jake be one of the 2 players from this season that will be in season 50. It had happened before.
