More insight into Dolly Parton’s late husband, Carl Dean, is being revealed. According to a filing by Dolly, obtained by US Weekly. Dean, who died in March at 82 years old, left behind a will signed back in 2013 that named his wife of 58 years as the sole beneficiary of the Carl Thomas Dean Trust that made up his estate. For the filing, Dolly will inherit all of her late husband’s right, title, and interest in any personal effects relating to her music and entertainment career, including pictures, costumes, jewelry, musical instruments, and equipment, as well as all interest in furniture, art, automobiles, and other items. The pair had no children together, and while Carl always supported her, he largely kept out of the spotlight. Following Carl’s death, Dolly wrote on X, “Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy. [Music] [Music]
