How Hilaria Baldwin reacted to shocking ‘DWTS’ elimination during Disney Night

Aria and Glenn. Oh my god. I mean, this has been an incredible experience. I’m so grateful to all of you and I’m grateful to my children and my family and thank you guys for this. I mean, this has been an wonderful and I’m cheering on everybody in the cast because this has been an amazing time. You guys had me worried up there a little bit with the rest of It was not fun. Never. Let’s never do it again. That was it. What was going through the mind? Um I think it was like probably squeezing your hand off. Um but I you know it it’s sad no matter what because I don’t want to say goodbye to anybody. I mean I’m somebody that like I wish that we could all win a ball. You know what I mean? It’s just such you get so close to everybody here and we it’s it’s a lot of work. It’s fun work, but you know show up every single day. And you know what? Those two couples that went home, they had practice scheduled for tomorrow. I know, you know, and that’s something that we always have to be respectful of of yes, there is a little bit of a few because we want to stay in. Of course, everybody wants to win here, but you have to have respect and, you know, admiration for how hard it is to go home. Yeah. And I mean, Jenna was our raining ball champ. Have you gotten a chance to talk to any of the eliminated contestants yet? Not yet, actually. We I mean we all hugged each other afterwards and you see the the tearfulness. I mean not a long conversation but again we’re we’re a team. We’re a team here. And you know it’s interesting when I see like comments of like oh you know that you should be this person that yes I I I yes you want to but not because you want to have them not do well if that makes sense. You know it’s a very weird mix of feelings. They did a great job. And I just want Jenna’s ab routine. Yes. I know I got to talk to her. Whatever that she’s doing, she’s doing it right. That too. Yes, I need that. Mother of mother of seven, I need I need that ab routine. Yeah. Well, speaking of mother of seven, your kids have been such a big part of this journey already. I love that you’ve been sharing that with us on social media. What does their support mean to you? And what do they think of mom doing Dancing with the Stars? You know, I used to hear when I was a younger mom, I used to hear about me time and I used to think it was like I didn’t deserve it. You know, I think it’s a lot of guilt as a mother of taking a moment for yourself. And other mothers who had children who were older than me, more experienced mothers would like be like, “Yeah, you totally need me time to be a better mom.” And this is one of the first things I’ve ever done that is me time. Truly, you know? I mean, it’s like and and my kids are there for it. like they’re not like, you know, yes, of course they miss me and they wish I was there all the time, but I brought I moved them like this here, you know, and Dance with the Stars is an amazing family where everybody has been so supportive and they made that possible. So every day my kids who have had a really hard past few years are here and they’re seeing their mom happy and going off to work bouncing with like my bag and my shoes and excited to hang out with him who’s like one of my favorite people I’ve ever met, you know, and it’s like it’s just a dream come true. So I think it’s not just healing for me, but it’s healing for my children as well because children want to see their moms happy. Yeah. And Gleb, I know your girls are big into ballroom. Has that kind of rubbed off on your kids? Have they gotten to see clips of Gloves Girls in action? Well, I’ve been sending Aaria um Olivia’s standard dances. I was like, “Look at her frame. Do that. Do that.” I don’t know. Did you show any of my her dancing to your kids? No, they they’ve seen I tried to get my kids into ballroom a few years ago and they were not having it. My boys really like um hip-hop. Yeah, they’re good. And then break dancing and and then my oldest likes the Tik Tok dancing and my youngest two just like jam out to like Shakira and Ricky Martin um which we love because it’s raising them well and um but they um I’m I think that this is going to inspire them, you know, to really see the purpose of it as well, you know, and we love that we’re bringing ballroom to America on a big stage like this. So I love hearing that. Click you told us you wanted to get more into acting, right? Um, do you feel like you’ve gotten close enough to Alec to ask for that expert advice? I’m studying him. Every single move, whatever he does, the way he looks. Um, it was interesting when we were in New York, I showed him our first rehearsal video. He watched that chacha. He took a little pause. He looked at me. He said, “If you don’t win, I’m blaming you.” That’s some pressure. We better win. I know. I was like, “What?” Exactly. for his benefit. Just vote for us because we need it for his safety and health. I agree. And lastly for you guys, just Tik Tok night coming up. What can you tease about what can we we can expect because show’s never done this before. We just did the samba to one of the hit songs. I’m super excited about it. It’s going to be authentic samba with a little flavor of a Tik Tok. Okay. So, yeah. All right. We’re excited. We’re excited for it. And for me who I, you know, have more experience with Latin dances, I’m excited after this week, which was very, very new for me, to go back to something that is a tiny bit more familiar, but at the same time, then I have higher standards for myself. So, it’s just like a little bit of I will work my butt off. That is your answer. We got this. We got this together. We got this. Thank you.

Hilaria Baldwin’s “Dancing With the Stars” journey came to an end Wednesday — and she grabbed the mic post-elimination.

The former yoga instructor took the opportunity to gush over her “incredible experience” competing on Season 34.
