See how quickly the wheels can turn when they want them to? Over 2 years of genocide to reach the point where a vote to ban Israel was even being considered, one afternoon of an apparent ceasefire and they’re already back to normalizing the genocidal state.

    2. In other words, they’ve kicked it down the road and are hoping by by then people will have forgotten about the whole genocide thing.

    3. So basically pro – Israel countries have insisted that this ‘ceasefire’ means they should be allowed back now.

    4. A ceasefire does not erase what happened. Israel must be held accountable for atrocities carried out during the genocide. Until there is genuine accountability and justice, Israel should should be barred from competitions such as Eurovision and any other global platform that celebrates cooperation, culture, or peace. The international community must not look the other way. This isn’t a time for normalization or polite diplomacy. Israel should face comprehensive sanctions and global trade embargoes until there is genuine accountability, justice for the victims, and a fundamental change in its policies and leadership.

EuroVision is sponsored by Moroccanoil, a partly-Israeli company. Nothing is gonna happen.

    6. Isnt Israel  a big sponsor for Eurovision? More likely they want to avoid losing money. That’s why they so hesitant about kicking Israel out of the competition.

    7. I will never say that progress is being made.

If you stick a knife in my back nine inches and pull it out six inches, there’s no progress.

If you pull it all the way out that’s not progress. The progress is healing the wound that’s below, that the blow made. And they haven’t even begun to pull the knife out, much less pull, heal the wound…

They won’t even admit the knife is there.

    8. Why would any country want to participate in a competition in which one participant has been blatantly cheating for two years? If Israel participates next year they WILL WIN and use it as “evidence” that they’re the good guys now because they stopped doing genocide after two years.

    9. I think they are banking on the “Ceasefire” pushing it from the public consciousness. This can of worms is open. People are not going to forget about this. People want to stop the genocide and they also know that the Ceasefire doesn’t suddenly change that.
