The actor said she hoped the ceasefire would bring lasting peace to both sides, but that many were waiting to see if it would hold before commenting further.
Coughlan said she was not in the business of making statements and just wanted to raise funds for a good cause with her activism for Palestine. She encouraged fans to continue donating to organisations working on the ground.
