Of course they are. Even if it’s true that Hassan is a horrible dog torturer, it wouldn’t invalidate his political arguments.
The brigading certain communities are doing about this is CRAZY to witness. Anything remotely related to Hasan suddenly gets a bunch of comments all saying the same points.
It just feels weird because I hate practically anyone pushing this and it doesn’t change that I agree with most of Hasan’s political standpoints, but there’s too much for it to just be made up. He keeps changing the story, all of his coworkers defending him keep having contradicting stories, and there’s just a lot of clips of him being really weird about “owning” a dog, like “needing to be the alpha” coded.
It’s just messed up that there is no way to criticize him personally without there being a barrage of the worst people you know extending that to every single point he has ever made

Crazy how right wingers can rape children and be treated as the next coming of Christ, but as soon as there is even the slightest straw of a left winger possibly abusing his dog, all of a sudden he’s declared a deadly threat to all existence only surpassed by the hydrogen bomb.
As a left winger, the right expects you to be squeakier clean than the mother Theresa herself, and DESPITE that, even if you are, you still face constant attacks, garbage, and scrutiny just for being on the left, and that cleanliness will be weaponized against you too!
It reeks of DNC/Establishment dems-meddling. I’m gay and my algorithm was flooded with PinkNews, Out, various queer influencers sharing articles about how he said “trans people would be worse off with Kamala”. **LIES**, never said that. But they really zero in on the identity politics thing, you really feel if you fall under those categories.
Can we not defend him for abusing his dog. Right wingers are shitstains but this guy literally uses his dog as a prop. The dog is so well behaving and the video I watched it was obvious that he used a shock collar for no freaking reason. We don’t have to defend everyone who’s on the left.
