Britney Spears’s ex-husband, Jason Alexander, shares a fiery message for Kevin Federline. Days before the release of his tell- all memoir, You Thought You Knew, in which the backup dancer made several shocking claims about Britney, her first ex-husband is coming to her defense. In a lengthy Instagram post October 15th, next to a meme criticizing Kevin’s weight gain and receipt of child support from the pop superstar, Jason writes, quote, “So Kevin Federline has decided to write a book. And surprise, surprise, that leans heavy on painting Britney in a bad light. As someone who’s known Britney most of her life, not just as her first husband, but as a friend who’s seen what she’s gone through, I can’t stay silent.” Jason, who accuses Kevin of profiting from Britney and her struggles, says, quote, “Kevin, you don’t get to tell half the story. Not when you were in the middle of it.” He continues, “You were her husband. You were supposed to be her protector.” Jason, who was married to the singer for 55 hours before it was anoldled, also pointed out how Kevin walked away from the divorce with full custody of their sons and child support. E-News reached out to Kevin’s reps, but they declined to comment on the post. Britney’s rep also slammed Kevin’s book in a statement to ENews October 14th, accusing the dancer of profiting off of his ex-wife, who he was married to from 2004 to 2007, saying, quote, “Sadly, it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids, Shawn Preston and Jaden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism. [Music]

All Britney is asking for is grace and respect as their mother. Even Jayden said in 2022, “It’s not like she’s done anything bad; I just hope she stops attacking [the family].” That statement alone reveals the contradiction — they know she’s not bad, yet they still struggle to see her fully.
Why?
Because Britney’s sons were raised in an environment where their perception of her was filtered through people who disrespected and dehumanized her — K-Fed, Victoria, and of course, Jamie. From an early age, they were immersed in a narrative that painted their mother not as a person, but as a problem.
They didn’t get to see the full woman — only the dysfunction others claimed she was.
They were taught, consciously or not, to view her as someone broken. As someone to be pitied, managed, or ignored. Not as a mother who's essence was stolen in the legal restraints they put her in.
Imagine growing up under that weight — not just for Britney, but for the kids too. Every time she tried to show love or express herself, it was filtered through years of conditioning that told them: “There’s something wrong with her.”
Her every move was scrutinized, mocked, and used as proof that she wasn’t “normal.”
It was a cult of demonizing Britney. A flawed human, like all of us, but clearly has a good heart, who was never given a fair chance.
She didn’t deserve that treatment.
Try being treated worse than a criminal, as if you don’t deserve basic human rights.
Then ask yourself: would you still be standing?
Yet people still expect Britney to be superhuman.

How pathetic of Kevin who turned Britney's sons against her, then used her to afford a lifestyle for his other kids and wife that he couldn't afford without Britney's money. Now that the well has dried up, no more child support payments Kevin is still riding on Britney's back writing a book that most of us have no interest in buying or reading. Kevin, it's time to get a job and leave Britney alone. It's over bud, get a real job to take care of your family and wife.
