Wow this is impressive and probably a game changer for many. I’m not American but I’ve heard that he is a bit controversial and I’m not sure why?
The person who invented insulin specifically gave the patent to a university (rather than selling the patent for a profit) because he wanted it to be something that anyone could make and use. He could’ve made himself rich, but he cared more about making sure his invention would be widely accessible.
This is great, but I’m starting to wonder if he’s gearing up for a presidential run next round
