Kevin Federline is sharing a rare update on his and Britney Spear sons. In Kevin Federline’s new memoir, You Thought You Knew, set to be released on October 21st, he gives insight into his and Britney Spears sons as they come into adulthood. Noting in the upcoming book, they really started to come into their own after getting some distance from the pop singer. Kevin shares details of the now 20-year-old who goes by his middle name. Preston seemed way less anxious. He seemed more comfortable in his own skin, like he was finally stepping out of the shell he lived in for so long. Preston had always been the quieter one, but he started opening up, hanging with friends, riding around, making young memories. Meanwhile, Kevin notes that his and Britney’s 19-year-old is also finding his lane and diving deep into music. Kevin goes on to note that both young men are following in their parents’ footsteps in pursuit of the arts. Both of them have different paths they want to take. But music will always be part of their lives, whether it’s production, sound design for films, whatever. They have a foundation now, something solid they built themselves. Elsewhere in the book, Kevin expands on his son’s challenging relationship with their mother, sharing that they were often too scared to even stay at her home. In response to the claims Kevin made in his upcoming book, a rep for Britney says in a statement to E! news on October 14th that once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. The rep notes all she cares about are her kids Shawn Preston and Jaden James and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir, The Woman in Me.

Time for Kevin and Victoria to get jobs and support themselves.
Kevin was raking in 40,000 a month and when the kids turned 18 there was nothing he could do that was one reason he moved away thinking that the child support would continue to their 21. He’s a total narcissist from day one.

As someone that battles Bipolar disorder i understand the tole it takes on myself and those around me. I had a major breakdown in 2007 that lasted for a couple of years. I didn't even know how bad i was. I was hurting my daughter and didn't know it. Thank God that i somehow found my way and got treatment. I will have to be on medication the rest of my life but that medication keeps me mentally stable so i can be the best mom i can. I hope Britney gets help again. I believe her dad really was keeping her stable.

Britney isn’t a safe person. Many traumatized people abuse their children. She needs to heal and her kids too.
As a therapist I can tell you trauma patients often scare their children and we have to break generational cycles.
