Is Lindsay Halligan another person I’m going to regret knowing about? Like I regretted learning about Kristi Noem. Fuck it, I’m not googling Halligan till it’s day time outside. I hate learning about them at night, it adds to the horror.

I genuinely try not to think of Trump and his cronies as idiots or fools because I think it undercuts how evil they are but holy shit… Lindsey Halligan seems like a real bag of hammers after reading this. It’s super clear there was nothing wrong with this journalist reporting and Halligan was just trying to influence/intimidate her into reporting on the case with more “loyalty” but to then be like “jk it was all off the record” like c’mon girl. Everyone knows you have to say “this is off the record.” I’m not a journalist or a politician and I know that.
I read through the full text exchange and Lindsey is so ham brained. She can’t answer any simple direct questions, it’s all ad hominem attacks and keeps repeating “you don’t report fairly.”
I am not a lawyer but, It cannot be obvious that the conversation is off the record if you felt the need to send the message that says “BTW’s what I sent you before is off the record”
