Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard Detail Navigating Their Marriage | E! News

Kristen Bell is opening up about making her marriage last. Speaking on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live October 23rd, the actress speaks on being with a creative like Dak Shepard. Like I like being married to an actor. We understand each other’s highs and lows and uh excitements and complaints, you know. Um we’re also I mean we’re both creative, so we can get like deep into some random conversation and just feel like we’re creating something together. The pair has been together since 2007, marrying in 2013. Recently, Dax and Kristen celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary, adding why her husband specifically is a good fit. She says, “I’d be more specific than saying choosing the right person.” Like for me, it would be like choosing someone. I am glad I chose my husband because he has like a commitment to growth at all times. So, I wasn’t I don’t like the idea that you’re like looking for your perfect puzzle piece because you also have to become a puzzle piece that fits with someone else. So, if you find two people that are like, “Yeah, we’re going to make this work, and that means we’re going to compromise constantly, and those compromises should work well for both of us, and sometimes it’s going to eb and sometimes it’s going to flow, but we’re not going to have checks and balances because we’re going to realize it’s not me against you, it’s us against the world.
