How are you doing today? Wonderful. I mean, what goes through your mind on a day like this when you guys are getting a little bit of love and shine for that show that you guys made? Joy. Like the excitement on the staff and crew who’s over there cheering. We brought the spirit tunnel energy here. We’re just happy to be here, you know, and and be back for season 4. It’s a blessing. Has there been a celebrity that’s gone down the spirit tunnel that’s really surprised you where you’re like, I don’t know. And then they show something off that you’re like, oh man. All right. It’s funny you say that cuz we never know what they’re going to do. And I have a monitor sitting like right in front of me so I can see them as they’re coming in on the spirit tunnel. We never know and and a lot of people are getting more and more creative. Yeah. Where it’s like no this is like getting really serious and so we’re always curious to see and you never know who’s going to do what. But they’re steady raising the bar. So raise the bar guys and be ready for the spirit time. Have you seen anybody like backstage like warming up getting ready practicing their moves? Yes. I’ve seen all of that. I’ve seen choreography. I’ve seen like, okay, one, two, wait, let me go back again. Spill it. Like, who do you who do you see? That’s that that is confidential at that happy place. But um but that’s a goal to protect our guests and let them know they are safe. And that’s what the spirit tunnel is about. Like I want everybody to know as soon as they walk through their door, we only want to love on you. We’re here to celebrate you and everything you are and what you do. I love that. Um, you know, as you get, you know, further into this show, as your career continues to grow and grow and grow, has your boy decided, if he’s gotten an interest in like following in your footsteps in any way, has he been hanging around like observing what what goes on? He’s very musical. Um, and he’s 16 now. So, he’s coming to his own. And I’m like, as a parent, this is the age. So, you’re like, who did I raise? Who are you? What are you into? He’s a little musician. So yeah, he he makes beats and he’s a you know, he got a look on him and he like, “Yeah, the girls think I’m fly.” And he is. Did he spend time with Common in the studio? Ooh, to be continued. You know, who knows? But they’re both very musical. Yeah. Yes. I love that. We love that relationship on you. It looks good. What makes it work for you guys? Oh my goodness. You know, I think it’s our Chicago roots. It’s a huge part of it. We are just similar souls and spirits. Yeah, he’s just such a beautiful person and I just respect him for just who he is, how he is. He’s a blessing, a light. That man is a light for sure. Congratulations on everything. Continued success. Have fun tonight. Thank you so much.

I love Jennifer Hudson so much. It seems like she's trying to keep her relationship with Common out of the public eye, and that's a great idea.
