Emily may have left Paris, but it looks like Lucas Bravo still may be there. As the first full look at season five of Emily in Paris debuted, giving a glimpse into how Emily is settling into her new life in Rome. Lucas’s character Gabrielle, her on andoff love interest in the first four seasons, is conspicuously absent. As for what it means for his fate when the series returns December 18th, he tells E! Newews in an exclusive interview, I can say. And you know what? I I would love to tell you something, but I I like how um how how they decided I mean, I like the fact that I’m not in the trailer and that it creates a um a conversation. And I’m going to uh keep the conversation running. I won’t say anything. In fact, the 37year-old, who previously caused controversy for saying he was questioning returning for season 5, wouldn’t even confirm or deny whether his absence from the trailer signified a permanent exit. I don’t know. I’m not in it. However, back in August, the actor was seen snuggling up to his ex Shain Woodley while on the set of the romantic comedy. Plus, Netflix shared a glimpse of the actor as Gabrielle in the season 5 snaps it released alongside the trailer. Despite keeping tight- lipped on the comedy, Lucas was willing to provide some insight into another one of his acting gigs, his new role in HBO Max’s upcoming French language drama, The Seduction, which is a prequel to the classic novel Dangerous Lazison. For Lucas, whose character Jakur was not originally a main part in the book, joining the show was a fun creative challenge, saying alongside his co-star Vincent Lacost. On on my end, honestly, you know, the character was just like completely new is is barely present in the book. So, I had the opportunity to completely start from scratch and added a little a little bit of paint to something that been so established and well known for years. So it was it it was exciting to rewrite something that is already, you know, a classic and uh to explore a character that is completely I mean now I can judge him because I’m not portraying him anymore, but like in insane. Catch the Seduction premiering on HBO Max on November 14th.
