TBF, Sarandon was suggesting positives if Trump won and encouraged voting for Jill Stein over Clinton.

So, while Messing is a mess, so is Sarandon and in retrospect Messing was probably right on this one.

      > Her tweet referred to Sarandon’s original comments made to MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes, where she said, “Some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in. Things will really explode.”

Edit: wild to me that in the year 2025 people don’t agree that electing Trump in 2016 was a *really* bad idea.

I love Susan so much. She is so classy and well spoken. If you told 12 year old me who absolutely loved The Client and Little Women and adored Susan that she would be this awesome and also pro Palestine (and wear a kuffiyeh!) I would have never believed it. She makes up for all the other celebrities I used to like that turned out to be a huge disappointment.

    3. I remember this. Basically, Sarandon was a critic of Hillary Clinton. She expressed disliking Trump, but feeling concern with the policies Clinton put out.

News networks ran with it as a sign of supporting Trump.

Which now is hilarious because literally been arrested for protesting Trump.
