Why Melissa Gorga wants potential Teresa Giudice reconciliation to be off camera | Virtual Reali-Tea

New Jersey is very busy and there’s been so many New Jersey headlines lately. Yes. And we’ve been hearing from so many people in the equation. Teresa was on this couch a few weeks ago with Gia talking about how she was reaching out to Joe. Joe was on a podcast saying he was reaching out. We just talked to Gia too who was saying she’s hopeful for something. But I’m curious through all this like what are you making of this potential reconciliation? I mean this is never something that I ever wanted to happen. Mhm. This was never a line that I was drawing in the sand. And the truth is, I’m always going to be team family. There is no way that I would ever not want that for Joe. Ever. I mean, my family is so close. I am so close with my mom and my sisters. I want that for him. I’ll always want that for him. I will always root for that. There is no way that if there’s any type of healing that could possibly happen that I would never not root for that because I I think anyone would root for that, right? Um and we’ll see. We’ll see what happens. But I’m happy that there’s conversations happening. I’m happy that um you know, am I shocked? Is it like shocking at points? And is it like wow, you feel like I could never get there. I don’t know how we’re here or how any of this is happening. Of course, we I sure we all feel that way, right? But it happens. That’s why it’s like I feel like a wave of peace. Like I the way that every person in this equation has been talking about the situation, I’m like, how did we get here? But I’m so glad that we might be getting somewhere where both parties can be on the same show together. I mean, listen, that’s for Bravo to decide. And the truth is, we don’t know what’s happening for the show. I’m doing this for a more important reason or I think everyone would do it for a way more important reason in the show which is my children. I would be willing to, you know, move on and and try things, but to show my children that this is no way to live. Like this isn’t normal, right? And I mean, my children are so close with my sisters, with their aunts, very extremely close. And you know, this is not this is this has to get fixed. I think I think God forbid like something ever h you know everybody needs to be able to speak to one another cuz that’s what when we were talking to Gia when I we as were you able to still talk to like you know like your cousins and everything she’s like no and that’s what really hurts so much where they were like cuz like even watching myself I was like oh my god the kids like they’re getting older like the kids are growing up and it’s like you want to have those moments of like you were saying connection and bonding and fun times of course that’s all like we don’t I don’t come from a place of anything else and that’s honest like I don’t this is all foreign to me and my children they don’t feel any of that or feel that way so it’s we just kind of go with what was placed right and but I am always listen if people want to heal and there’s open hearts and open minds and we all need to take accountability including myself everybody right I mean at some point we’ve all said things out of anger we’ve all you know so And would you for when because we don’t know if the conversations like when it’s going to happen, how what how far along any of them are. Would do you feel Joe and Teresa will have their own conversation and you and Teresa your own conversation or kind of just as a whole family unit sit down or what would you want? Like I don’t know. I don’t know. We’ll have to see how it goes. We’ll see, you know, what happens. Um but I feel like we haven’t ever had a chance to have anything private. We have always been on reality TV dealing with all of this. So, I’m going to keep this part private for right now. I feel like this is our one chance to do something off camera and not for the cameras and have it be authentic and have it be real. And I’m going to I think that’s where we’re at. That’s where I’m at. And and I want to I think that’s really important because we’ve never had that chance. And hopefully you can build make because it won’t be on camera like create a really strong foundation for the future. And hopefully we can get you both back on camera and Jersey can be as it was always meant to be. You know what I mean? You know what I’m saying? What you dream it could be. So I know what I was telling G I was like that’s my Christmas wish this year is that Jersey just gets back on track. It really is. That’s cute. You can never be mad at anybody for um wanting peace. Right. Right. Exactly. But no, and I’m serious when I say like some some you know I’m not into like putting it all out there right now because we’re not working. This is not about work. This is not about the cameras. There’s no cameras here. Yeah. You know, we’re not doing the show right now. So, let’s let’s give it a minute and have this privacy that we never get a chance to have.

Melissa Gorga is ready to move forward with her sister-in-law and longtime “Real Housewives of New Jersey” nemesis, Teresa Giudice — but this time, she wants to do it privately.

While promoting her upcoming episode of “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition” on Bravo, the Envy boutique owner tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she hopes any reconciliation with Giudice, the sister of her husband Joe Gorga, won’t occur while cameras roll.

“We’ll see how it goes,” Melissa says, explaining that their relationship has always been defined by reality TV. “We haven’t ever had a chance to have anything private … so I’m going to keep this part private for right now.”

Melissa adds that she wants any progress to “be authentic and real,” noting, “We’ve never had that chance.”

    1. Melissa I believe you. Because there were really nice moments on the show that were amazing. I remember when Joe was going off to prison. How you had a family goodbye get together and one of your sons hugging his uncle. You all just being together in that sad moment ❤

      Wishing you the best

    2. This is a real family that has been suffering the very real consequences of this disgusting fight. They deserve to try and fix what can be broken. People need to leave them alone and stay out of it period!!

    3. The members of this family are telling us that they want to find forgiveness and peace if it is possible, yet people are out here telling them not to do it, or putting their own terms and conditions on how that forgiveness needs to happen. Sop it! Leave this family to heal however they see fit. Both sides of the family have suffered the real life fallout of this prolonged feud and they have had to carry the burden of the hurt and anger. They deserve to say we choose peace and forgiveness.

    4. I quit watching Jersey three years ago because I just couldn’t stomach Teresa anymore, I was hoping bravo would get rid of her and Louis, . Who wants to watch more family drama with Teresa and Joe. I will not

    5. This means Bravo hasn’t found another family willing to put their lives out there and whoever they have isn’t getting the chemistry that Teresa and the Gorgas bring.
