Bannon basically called him an idiot who needs to shut up and sit down in response so we’ll see how this all plays out I guess. The fact that this is all starting now with 3 years to go doesn’t bode well, plenty of time to strong arm Trump’s allies and thus his base into going along. I remember when they all condemned January 6 and swore Trump was done.

    2. Until Trump scolds him.

Idiot in chief was reportedly bragging and laughing at how easy he can play mike, it’s only a matter of time before he calls him and puts him in his place.

I wonder if they expect him to pass away by then, and they’ll have enough power to exert long term based on what they have done  so far.

    4. the only path left for him is into a grave, and no reddit i am not being violent, the man is in bad health and fucking old

    5. “We’ve got three extraordinary years ahead of us and the two years of the Trump administration is going to be an incredible thing” hmmmmm

    6. I love how Mike is speaking in terms of what the Constitution allows as if Trump gives a shit about what the Constitution says.

    7. Sorry but I’m not buying that Trump is even healthy enough for all that… didn’t he just admit to having an MRI?

    8. Here’s a man I want to play poker with. Every time he lies his cheeks get a red glow. The bigger the lie, the rosier the cheeks.

    9. Love how he has to throw in there between chuckles “we’re trolling [sticking it] to the Dems, whose hair is on fire…” yeah, because YOU’RE A BUNCH OF CREEPS WHO PISS ON OUR CONSTITUTION, YO. No one is going to step down from power. Who is going to stop them? There won’t be an election for him to have to bow out of, he’ll just keep on keeping on. I hate this timeline.

So he is gonna run in 2028. Every time this admin has done something controversial, and quite frankly illegal, they started off by saying its a joke and it would never happen. Ever single time.

All this means is that he’s waiting for someone to show him the path and he’ll be fine with it.

Ok so tin foil hat here…. They know he isn’t going to live that long and are setting the stage for him to say he’s a protector of the constitution after he dies.

They see the writing on the wall- him running unconstitutionally for a third time would absolutely kill their chances for any future elections especially as we approach a deep recession

    14. I don’t think people realize it’s semantics. Johnson is correct with having no path for a third term and that is not what Trump is after.

Trump is going to make sure his second term never ends.

Pattern I’ve noticed with most republicans:

      1. Rumors and/or valid information comes out about something. Such as trump running for a 3rd term, gerrymandering in indiana, the east wing “renovation,” the bunker under the east wing, etc.

      2. Republican leaders begin to address things to deny it once people start talking about it or questioning it. “No there’s no evidence of that.” “No, we never said that.” “No he’s not going to run for a 3rd term.” “We’ll only change the outside of the East Wing.” “Indiana doesn’t have enough votes to redistribute or draw new lines.”

      3. They do whatever they said they wouldn’t do anyway because of whatever new information, policies, or direction they’ve received, especially because after they address it, the public’s interest has been quelled and lessened so not as many people are paying attention. They’re literally doing this now in indiana, and did this with the east wing. It’s smoke and mirrors and they’re flat out lying.
