Love & Hip Hop Star Masika Kalysha’s Husband Dead After Car Crash | E! News

Msika Kicia’s husband, Jamar Champ, has died following a horrific car wreck in Houston. He was 38 years old. Msika first hinted at her family’s tragedy on X, telling fans in part, quote, I just received the worst news of my life. Pray for me and my kids. Houston police revealed in a statement, “A BMW driving on the wrong side of the freeway Tuesday crashed into Jamar’s Cyber Truck headon with his vehicle then colliding into an 18wheeler in the BMW catching fire after impact. Emergency responders rushed Jamar to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The other driver pronounced dead at the scene while the 18-wheeler driver was unharmed. In a statement to the shade room, Mika confirming quote the tragic and unexpected passing of my spouse and father of my beautiful daughters during this incredibly challenging time. I kindly ask for respect and understanding as our family comes together to support one another and honor his memory. [Music]
