Lily Allen has worn a ‘Madeline’ costume (from the children’s book series) on Halloween 2025. Madeline also happens to be the name of her new breakup song, where she sings about her ex-husband David Harbour having an affair with a woman named Madeline.

Her new album has some BOPS. ‘Ruminating’ is insane. The storytelling is so good because the lyrics are quite literal.
Apparently when she begged David Harbour to close the marriage and stop his affair with other women, he pretended to agree but then asked her “If it has to happen, baby, do you want to know?” which is so fucking insane because why does it HAVE to happen David????
