Ant Anstead Recovering from Surgery After “Freak” Accident | E! News

And Anstead is on the mend. The TV host, who’s been dating Renee Zelwiger for the past four years and was previously married to Christina Hawk, is recovering from surgery after injuring his arm and shoulder while playing soccer. Writing on Instagram November 1st alongside a photo of himself with his arm in a sling and wearing compression socks. He says, quote, “A freak footy accident and I detached my pectoral muscle and tore my rotator cuff and labrum. surgery now complete and I am forced to rest which I don’t do well so I’m taking it as a sign. According to Ant the accident occurred just after he began researching how to improve his overall health. He explains in the post quote October can officially go away. Three close and beloved friends received terrible diagnosis. It kickstarted me to look closer at my health and I went down many rabbit holes. Diet, peptides, body scans, vitamins, etc., etc. October wasn’t entirely bad for Aunt. Three weeks before he suffered his injury, he shared a rare update on his co-parenting journey with Christina. Writing on Instagram October 10th, alongside a photo of the formal couple standing in a classroom, quote, “Teacher conference week. Hudso is thriving. I’m going to give us a pat on the back. We’re doing a great job with this little chap. Nice work, Mom. [Music]
