      As a Virginian who was previously represented by her in Congress,

      I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED! Not gonna lie, I totally teared up a little. I’m glad they called it before my daughter went to bed so that she was there for that moment. Such a special moment that we got to share. I’m so happy for her, our commonwealth, and all the little girls around the state that will get to see our first female governor take office come January!

      See people, we can be the reason for change. Voting is crucial and works. Trump and his goons are scared shitless of people who vote. I see a blue wave coming in 2026. We CANNOT be apathetic to our voting power and voting rights.

      Isn’t it crazy that Trump’s misogynoir is soooo strong that he couldn’t be bothered to endorse the GOP candidate?! 

      Anyways, glad Virginia has a Dem governor. I hope she stays working hard to push her state and the country forward.
