Ariana Grande is asking fans not to wish danger on her team after the popular singer reveals that she won’t be joining Cynthia Arivo, Jonathan Bailey, and more at the Wicked for Goodworld premiere in Brazil on November 4th due to an issue with her flight. Ariana is sending a follow-up message to her fans. Shortly after announcing that she would be unable to attend the premiere, Ariana shares a plea with fans asking, “Please don’t wish danger on us.” She writes on her Instagram stories, “We did everything we could, and I promise you, no one is more upset than I am. No matter how upset or disappointed you are, please, please do not wish danger on us or assume that we didn’t try.” Emphasizing that she’s been looking forward to this moment for a year, Ariana concludes with, “I hope it’s a beautiful and safe night. I love Brazil. I always have. I always will.” In her original message, the 32-year-old who stars as Glenda opposite Cynthia’s Alphaba in 2024’s Wicked and the sequel releasing in theaters on November 21st notes that my team at Universal have tried every single thing possible to fix this, including searching for different flight options.
