I’m convinced a lot of dudes who become directors do it just to get their weird fantasies or fetishes played out on screen.

A foot fetish is harmless if everyone involved is consenting (although, there is an inherent power imbalance with a director and their cast). But what’s definitely not harmless? I can’t imagine encouraging my daughter to be anywhere near a person I had to say that about. This is gross and not remotely funny.
If I have to tell my child to take certain precautions around someone, I’m going to just go ahead and advise them to just stay away from that person.
