Unpopular opinion but how is this any different from artists playing in the United States right now given the state of things there? I assume this is because of the human rights issues in the UAE, but with everything going on in the states, the human rights issues there should have every artist boycotting the country as well. People just speak on it more openly when it’s a brown country (spoken as a brown gal) than a white one.
Sigh. I remember seeing them play at a little club in Pontiac, Michigan 20 years ago. I thought they were so cool then.
