David Beckham Reacts to Receiving Knighthood From King Charles III | E! News
This is the moment that um makes me very proud. Introducing Sir David Beckham. The retired soccer star is kned by King Charles in a ceremony at Windsor Castle on November 4th. And David is clearly moved by the milestone, telling Sky Sports, “Did you cry when you found out that you got um I cried? You’re making me emotional. Um, I cried when I first found out and and possibly for a few months after it as well, but um, you know, this week has been really emotional because, uh, you know, being back in London and obviously um, on the leadup to this day, you know, it’s been, uh, not stressful. I’ve not been nervous. I’ve just been emotional. David, who was accompanied by wife Victoria Beckham and parents Ted and Sandra, also jokes about the new ways his loved ones can refer to him, joking, “Are you insisting on any different sort of ways of being?” I’m not insisting. If they would like to call me sir dad or, you know, or sir son, they can. But David isn’t the only one with a new title. The honor means his wife of 26 years, Victoria, now goes by Lady Beckham. The honor comes more than two decades after receiving an officer of the Order of the British Empire title for his services to football. The late Queen Elizabeth bestowed the honor upon the former Manchester United star in 2003. David shares at the November 4th event. You know, it’s a very proud day for us as a family today. Um, you know, I grew up in the East End of London in a very humble family. Um, and you know this moment, you know, my dream was always to become a professional footballer, play for my country, play for Manchester United. Um, and everything else that has come with that has been incredible. But today to be honored by, you know, one of well the most important institutions in the world and one of the most uh respected institutions in the world. You know, being an East End boy, it’s it’s a very proud day. [Music]

David & Victoria Beckham have always had that dream years ago when David was a young famous English footballer the desire of a knighthood, that is the favored wish of the Beckhams nou they are Sir and Lady Beckham, it is a dream come especially true for Victoria, nou they are known as SIR and LADY Beckham.

Disgraceful corruption from the Royals on view again. After Beckham questioned Katherine Jenkins' OBE. "For what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops," he said. "It's a disgrace to be honest, and if I was American I would of got something like this 10 years ago." What’s the message of this knighthood?! Stamp your feet like a spoiled toddler and you get what you want? Not to mention the decision to furlough about 30 staff so the taxpayer can foot the bill during the lockdown while David was estimated to have £335m. That is all without mentioning his failure as a father… while Gordon Ramsay's son became a royal marine. Beckham's son had a budget of $100,000 per episode to produce a show where he made cheesy pasta… hypocrites raising failures given honours by a filthy inbred, tax avoiding, nonce supporting, parasite.
