While this is disappointing, the ACLU’s lawsuit against the administration and the discriminatory passport policy is still active. Keep speaking up & don’t lose hope.

That’s the shittiest, lamest reason I’ve ever heard. Here’s why: you do not need to include your BIRTH name on there. If you legally change your name and surname after marriage or a legal name change, you use your NEW name. So if you don’t have to display your name AT BIRTH, why the F do you need to display your SEX at birth? Make it make sense.Â

I used to be against the idea of “packing the court” as a matter of principle.
That’s dead now. If we ever have another situation where the Democrats control the white house and majority of Congress, they better expand the court to 27 justices and get packing right away.

Isnt this information on the passport to help ID people? If a trans female is marked male, how does that help a country know who is entering the country? Is it to cause confusion at the gate and get people denied or questioned since their may appear to be a mistake in the passport?Â
