Duffer Brothers Respond to Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour ‘Stranger Things’ Bullying Claims
Why was it important for you that fans get to see the finale in theaters? Oh, we just were we really excited by the idea that people can experience this together. Like it’s a communal experience experience. I mean obviously you get the big picture and the good sound, but more than that it’s just like I mean you can watch it with your friends and family but to be with a couple hundred other fans and to see it for the first time together I think will be hopefully a special experience. Yeah. I mean, no, this is the first and that’s why Netflix had the idea of doing the finale separate um as its own own day and we got excited about that because of the potential for this because it never made sense to us before. We’ve we’ve had episodes screened in the theaters before, but then you have a mix of people who have seen it before and some who haven’t. So, what’s cool about this is my Brotherhood on is that no one will have seen the episode by the time um and they’re going to be watching it and experiencing it together for the first time. And on a production note, news of a complaint between two of your stars broke this week. We saw them though posing together on the carpet and everybody’s talking about it. What do you have to say about that? And how do you work to make sure that you have a safe and set where everybody feels respected? Yeah, I mean I I obviously as you understand I can’t get into like personal onset uh matters, but I will say this, we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.
Matt and Ross Duffer spoke to THR at the premiere of the final season of ‘Stranger Things’ and shared why it was important for them to screen the finale in movie theaters for fans, as well as responded to reports of a complaint between Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour.

If Anna Kendrick, who has a known disdain for Blake Lively, can take a few pictures with her, then Millie and David can do the same. This isn’t proof of anything, but it could be a sign of professionalism, leaving whatever happened, if anything happened, behind them. Especially because this is likely the last time the two will be around each other. Let’s see if they meet again or work together again. That will be the nail in the coffin for these claims.
I'm so glad this show is over
Why can these rumors about millie and david just leave.. its only rumors.. duffer twins look at each other thinking this again.. they look annoyed by it.. and were professionals about the whole thing… still looked annoyed
