I graduated high school in 1997, the year that Goodwill Hunting came out. So I think every kid from then on has a Goodwill Hunting poster tattooed to their back. So when I got to meet him, I was like, “Oh my god.” I was very excited. It was at 30 Rock. They were shooting at the top of 30 Rock, this big beautiful scene. And uh Emily said, “Come after 4.” And so I get up there and this uh PA yells, “They’re rolling.” And he throws me into this black tent and I go this close to the screen and it’s just Matt and my wife kissing very deeply. So then I go out and I said, “Hey, Emily, great to see you, blah blah blah.” And Matt Damon came up and was just trying to make a joke. And instead he goes, “Hey, nice to meet you. I was just totally tonging your girl.” And I looked at him and I went, “Okay, man.” And he just started to melt and he went, “I’m so sorry. That wasn’t funny at all.” To this day, he can’t get over the fact that that’s the first thing he said to me. Yeah, actually it was funny.

The thing is that matt look like a realy cool guy that just wanna get along. So hé clearly tried to feel confortable and make a bond but just flawlessly fumble on that 😆
So, I'd been dating my husband for a couple of months and I wanted him to finally meet my Dad. So we head over to my Dad's place to pick him up so we can all go out to dinner. My Dad is standing in front of his TV with his remote trying to get the DVR to record something. He's always hated electronic type things and you can see that he's getting visibly frustrated. He starts blaming the remote and saying that's why it won't record. My husband looks over at my Dad and says, "you got to be smarter than what you're working with." I swear you could hear a pin drop in the room! Mind you, my Dad is a tough military guy so I assumed something sarcastic and or rude was about to come out of his mouth and response. Instead he laughs and simply says, "that's a good one". I know that my husband definitely had a facepalm moment, however, they have a great relationship. If my dad didn't like him we definitely wouldn't still be together after 20 years. 😂
I thought he was going to say "How do you like them apples?"
How can a man allow this to be done by his wife with another man? Shameful.

I personally find Krasinski very smug. He's not a good actor… There's no acting. It really doesn't take a lot to be yourself when a camera is rolling verses not. Yet, he still just does the smug thing, and I admit, does it well.
