Chanel West Coast Breaks Silence on ‘Ridiculousness’ Cancellation | E! News

Chanel West Coast breaks her silence on the cancellation of her former show Ridiculousness. Days after MTV canceled the Rob Derk hosted clip show, the TV personality, who was a panelist on the series from 2011 to 2023, is sharing her thoughts on its demise. She says in an interview with TMZ posted November 4th, “It’s sad. It’s the end of an era. I truly felt like the world needed a show like that right now. It makes people laugh. It makes people happy. And that’s what we need more of. It was not the best time for a show like that to go away. However, the 37year-old, whose real name is Chelsea Chanel Dudley, admitted the program’s feel had changed after her departure. I don’t want to say I was shocked. It was a bit different since I left the show. After her exit, Chanel shared insight into her decision to pursue independent projects, telling E-News in July 2024, “I think this was just the natural time and na uh it was it was the natural evolution of of me, you know. I think my fans saw everything I was doing outside of ridiculousness. And I would constantly get comments and stuff like, “When are you going to have your own show? When do we get to watch this?” You know, and so it was just it was it was like the natural next step. But fans will still be able to relive the show’s take on viral videos. As sources confirm, all previous seasons of the series will continue to air on MTV with select seasons available on Paramount Plus. [Music]

    1. Man I Watch This Show Daily And I Have Still Never Seen All The Episodes 😂 I Watch Re-Runs Constantly!! And Never Get Tired Of Them. Love This Show! But I Will Admit Yhe Show Did Stop Being Funny As Far As The Cast Goes Once Chanel Left It Just Didn't Have That Same Feel

    2. I’m glad it cancelled because I’m starting to get to the point where I can’t stand Steelo I know everyone love him and they probably disagree to what I say about him but he think he all that, better and smarter than everyone, make fun of mostly the girls on the show because when he get make fun of he be like why do you hate me like fool you do the same thing but I use to like Steelo but I swear he getting worse but I guess im the only one who notice that

    3. Just cuz someone asks “why dont you have/start your own show” doesnt mean they actually want it. People will ask questions like that just because. Then people will leave a show or a music group to do a solo or whatever the situation is and break up the chemistry that works…and then thier solo venture flops hard and they can never get that chemistry back
