How Isabella Strahan Transitioned Back to School After Cancer Battle | E! News

But when you’re you’re not in school and you can’t be in school, it’s like the one thing you want to do. I really have a passion for for modeling and doing that side of everything. But I also love being in school and being a college student. For the social aspects, I know so many people at USC, which is great. And it’s definitely the school for me. I love Los Angeles as well. Like I’ll go to class and then I’ll have like a casting zoom or I’ll have fly to Miami to shoot for fast after I have two midterms and it’s just it’s kind of fun for me cuz it’s feels like a Miley Cyrus moment like oh I’m in school or Hannah Montana feels like I’m in school. I’m I’m in school doing my classes. I’ll get texts from oh we got to upload this and it’s just so fun for me but then it’s fun to have like an escape from everyone else or it’s not just like a school club or something. It’s like, “Oh, I have a new hair.” It was funny. I I’m in a sorority. And I walk downstairs, they’re like, “What’s this hair thing you’re doing?” It’s just just like a community of people who are super supportive. And I really love that from like the college atmosphere. It’s been really really great to come back to it. And I know when I was going through treatment, it was like the one thing I was like, you really don’t miss it when you’re doing it. But when you’re you’re not in school and you can’t be in school, it’s like the one thing you want to do. And I I don’t think before all this happened, I’d be like, “Please let me go to school.” Like, “Please.” But like now, I’m just I love it here. It’s It’s amazing. I know as my hair is growing back, I’m like, “Oh, this is crazy.” But the faster it’s coming back, the more I am like looking forward to feeling like my old self. I feel like this partnership with Fast is super meaningful. Obviously because I am a cancer survivor and losing my hair has been like one of the biggest like mental things for me, but just their goal and mission of like using ingredients that 99% like doc increase your hair growth. I really hope people can see me now specifically kind of as like hope for I know a lot of people may be going through it or just like like me. I was looking up YouTube videos trying to find like they were all also like not kind of close to what I was going through. But just in the moment it was so tough to like really see a positive light like am I ever going to get better? Is my hair ever going to come back? Am I ever going to look or feel like myself? And I just want to like show that there is going to be a time if you a year ago from now. I wouldn’t see myself here two years ago. Um, so it’s like just giving hope to people I think is the biggest thing. [Music]
